Today I’d like to thank all of the folks who made 2014 another great year for Speeddemon2 Photography; I’m also going to share some of my favorite images from 2014.

First and foremost I want to thank my sweetheart for being my rock and caring enough to put up with my odd hours. As a photographer I’m up in the wee hours of the morning to shoot the first photons of the day, then I’m back home to catch a few ZZZZs before heading to my computer to begin editing. Later in the day I’m out again trying to capture more photons as the sun sets; then back to my computer to download and start editing again as I work into the night trying to stay on top of my Ohio River Bridge Project.
I also need to thank all the men and women involved with the Ohio River Bridges Project. Without their help and encouragement I would be a lost ball in high weeds. My friends and colleagues in the photographic community have been a source of inspiration and moral support as I have attempted to produce a body of work that will document the changes in Louisville’s infrastructure while striving to make fine art photography.
My many friends in the tech and business sectors deserve a round of applause for educating me and encouraging my work. Without their support I wouldn’t have discovered the many ways that modern technology can enhance a person’s vision.
Finally I want to thank the many people who have taken the time to view and comment on the photos I have posted here at Speeddemon2. It has been an amazing year and I’m happy to say I’ve grown immensely as I have pursued new techniques and new approaches to image making from capture to the final images.
I truly hope that you will continue to follow my work and share with me the wonderful world of photography. Happy New Year!
