HDR bracket set of five exposures merged in NIK HDR Efex Pro 2. I then used the Dark preset which I tweaked for contrast, shadows and highlights. I then returned it to Aperture 3 where I adjusted the clarity and vibrance before a final sharpening.

Thanks It’s been tough this year to get images I’m excited about. The weather was super hot on Thursday and the morning light was direct sun which made it hard to get anything. Today it rained most of the morning so I quit early after shooting a few images using the water beads as subject matter. I did go out this evening to shoot but I haven’t uploaded them yet to see what I got.

Glad you came back to see it… I’ve been a little slack about posting this weekend because I was shooting at the Street Rod Nationals, leading a photo walk for the Louisville Smug Mug Group and attending a Louisville Photography Society field trip and photo walk at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort KY.
