Today’s image is from a six frame bracket set that I shot on a drive to Shelbyville KY along US 60. I took the brackets into NIK HDR Efex Pro 2 where I merged and tone mapped them. I then returned the image to Aperture 3 where I straightened and cropped the image before applying a little noise reduction, sharpening and vibrance adjustment.

I like the complimentary colors of both sky and field. Great balance of intensity with each color. You did a great job of tone-mapping.
Thank you LBTomato, I’m trying to use HDR to create a more nuanced look rather than the hyperreal style that seems to be dominating HDR imagery today.
I hear you. Too many graphic alterations can ruin the simplicity and impact of an image. Just another reason I’m following you. 🙂
